2017: the year of green

It’s 2017 people!! Hallelujah, I made it this far. There are many moments and memories that took place in 2016 that made personal and public history for many of us, plus a whole lot of firsts and quite a few lasts fill my camera roll. All in all, 2016 was either fantastic or it was a wreck (I don’t care, you decide), and my goal for the new year is topantone-greenery exercise my comfort zone whether in the gym, in my wardrobe, or even in my color palette. Pantone (the paint swatch company thingy that you see at like home depot or on twitter sometimes, ya that’s the one) recently announced 2017’s color of the year.

I won’t lie and say that I wasn’t disappointed when I first saw the color with which I base my entire year off of (big shoes to fill lemme tell ya), but the more I’ve studied it the more I find myself intrigued.

Green is honestly a color that I take for granted, which is why I wanted to make this blog post. I wanted to prove to myself, and anyone wondering, that green is worth my time and obsession (at least for the span of 2017). So to my fellow color lovers, please enjoy and admire.

thanks @Pantone for the brilliant color inspo and thank you for reading,

RR
